Financial Aid
As a preschool with a Christian philosophy, CCUMC seeks to open its doors to children who otherwise might not be able to participate in its program. CCUMC Preschool’s Scholarship Policy supports that mission, and families seeking financial assistance are encouraged to apply for funds.
Scholarships should be applied for at the time of registration and completed not later than February 14. After the February deadline, qualifying applications will be considered on a rolling basis subject to the availability of remaining funds.
We partner with School and Student Services (SSS) in our financial aid process. Applicants will be required to complete the SSS Parent’s Financial Statement (PFS) then submit the required documents indicated in the SSS Family Portal. The PFS is a comprehensive application that will take some time to complete. Be sure to give yourself the time you need by not waiting until our school’s deadline approaches. You’ll need your most recent tax return before beginning the PFS. To learn more about the process or to begin a PFS please read How to Apply for Financial Aid.
The application will be treated with discretion and only made available to the administrators and selected members of the Preschool Advisory Council. Decisions on financial aid are made by the information from the PFS, the Preschool Advisory Council and the amount of scholarship funds available. The application fee required by SSS will be refunded to the applicant by the Preschool.
The Scholarship Fund is perpetuated by donations, designated fundraisers, and a percentage of the net surplus from the school’s operating budget
